8Eight born “Rayvon Cawley” on the WestSide of North Miami knew he wanted to be a singer at a young age but at the age of 11 started developing his artistry. Highly influenced by the likes of Buju Bonton, Garnet Silk , Morgan Heritage, Barris Hammond, 2Pac, Biggie, Usher, Jeezy, R Kelly, Chris Brown. At the age of 15 he created two mix tapes with a close friend as his first time recording a project. The following year he met 3 artist who where in a group that he soon joined as a singer. They gained some local exposure doing talent shows, open mics, block parties in addition to throwing there own events. they eventually raised enough money to buy a beat from a local well know producer which landed there single on radio. The group had a few major labels enquiring about signed the act but after numerous efforts to get exposure and be a household name the group decided to split and go separate ways which lead to the birth of “8Eight”. Present day 8Eight is artist to label “GRAMMI SOCIETY” owned by Balistic Beats and Jean Guy a Miami based Record Label with a Track record of breaking artist. 8Eight currently has a Single released called “PREE” which is working its way to TOP 40.
